Understanding State-Level Variability in Virtual Supervision Regulations for Behavioral Health Professionals

Project Description

We will conduct a policy analysis of licensure board regulation in 30 states across four disciplines to assess if remote delivery of supervision is allowed for behavioral health clinicians pursuing licensure. Stakeholder interviews with licensure board representatives will be gathered to understand the regulation of remote supervision and/or to assess potential future changes to states’ licensure requirements.
